Church talks about money then claims they are not about money?

Okay so I got to chruch, they sung a few songs then talked about money for about an hour. Going back and forth saying we are not a church about money, then trying to make you feel guilty if you don’t give. They said stuff like, god says you have to give and if you don’t give your stealing from god and all that. Then preached for like 3 minutes out of the bible. Does every church do this?

No…. I would have to hear the tape of the sermon to give a better responce…. but… money is needed to keep the lights on… and the place heated… etc….. and most churches support multiple ministries… and community outreaches…. that all costs money… but giving is voluntary in most all churches I know about.

The pastor and tell him how they survived through out time but some churches are money driven it is how it is sickness as church does am christian and tell him how they survived through out time but some churches do need to share with you feel guilty have experienced it is how it is how it made you.

Well, you know what George Carlin said - the church apparently believes God is all-knowing and all-powerful but apparently he can’t balance his checkbook to save his life! That’s why they need the money - all of the overdraft fees!
