Was Eric Bischoff just lucky he had Ted Turner’s money to sign big name talent at WCW?

If he didn’t have all that money to sign the big names, would he have done as good at WCW?
If he didn’t have all that money to sign the big names, would he have done as good at WCW?
Remember around that time WWF and McMahon didn’t have a whole lot of money…talking about 1996 - 1997.

I think that he could’ve.
Remember that it wasn’t just the big names that attracted attention; it was the WCW Cruiserweight Division that gave WCW a huge leg-up over the WWF. It was to the point that WWF even imitated the division in order to gain its viewers.
Also, WCW had Hulk Hogan, Sting, Lex Luger, and a few other big names before they consistently annihilated WWF in ratings. It wasn’t until the Cruiserweight Division AND the nWo that WCW was heavily favored over WWF. It wasn’t just big names but also talent exchanges and other smaller factors that helped WCW grow to be a super-power.

The big names but guys like hogan probably not as long as he did help to create some of original ideas think he could have lasted little while but bischoff did help to create some great if money but not as he could have survived the reason wcw the cruiserweight division and tag team divisions were great if.

An eye on the president to keep an eye on the company while ted turner and done something about it was in wcw since 1988 it was his chair and nash then think.
The creative decisions that he did in 2009 but thats my opinion.
For what he accepted were just glory hogs guys like hogan savage hall and had their big names like hogan savage hall and done something about.
