What does “Money Talks” mean?

I understand the meaning, but literally how does it make sense?
For instance, the saying “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you” that makes sense both ways. Literally & metaphorically, meaning kinda like.. baggers cant be choosers, & don’t be cruel to the people who give you the support you rely on.
But money talks? I know that it means something like.. with money you can do anything. or many can change a lot of things. But how does “money talks” make sense? Like I can’t imagine money with a mouth & physically speaking? it doesn’t make sense.
I’d like to get to the bottom of this right now, please haha.

The money gets things going like if you walk up to whore on the money and say honey youre so fine would you give me some.
